In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets.So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets.
Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the road is easy that leads to destruction, and there are many who take it. For the gate is narrow and the road is hard that leads to life, and there are few who find it.Enter through the narrow gate. Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves.Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven.Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.
But when he heard this, he said, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick.”On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. Therefore I tell you, people will be forgiven for every sin and blasphemy, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.And so I tell you, every kind of sin and slander can be forgiven, but blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven.
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.
I tell you, on the day of judgment you will have to give an account for every careless word you utter.But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken.
As for what was sown among thorns, this is the one who hears the word, but the cares of the world and the lure of wealth choke the word, and it yields nothing.The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.
He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”“But what about you?” he asked. “Who do you say I am?” Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
And I tell you, you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not prevail against it.And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades will not overcome it.
I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
For those who want to save their life will lose it, and those who lose their life for my sake will find it.For whoever wants to save their life will lose it, but whoever loses their life for me will find it.
For what will it profit them if they gain the whole world but forfeit their life? Or what will they give in return for their life?What good will it be for someone to gain the whole world, yet forfeit their soul? Or what can anyone give in exchange for their soul?

While he was still speaking, suddenly a bright cloud overshadowed them, and from the cloud a voice said, “This is my Son, the Beloved; with him I am well pleased; listen to him!”While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!”
