Matthew 24:24 (3/5)

Give us today our daily bread.Give us today our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.Bring us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory forever. Amen.
For if you forgive other people when they sin against you, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive others their sins, your Father will not forgive your sins. But if you don’t forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
When you fast, do not look somber as the hypocrites do, for they disfigure their faces to show others they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. Moreover when you fast, don’t be like the hypocrites, with sad faces. For they disfigure their faces that they may be seen by men to be fasting. Most certainly I tell you, they have received their reward.
But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you are not seen by men to be fasting, but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father, who sees in secret, will reward you.
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal.Don’t lay up treasures for yourselves on the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consume, and where thieves don’t break through and steal.
For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon.
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they?
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
Do not judge, or you too will be judged.Don’t judge, so that you won’t be judged.
Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?Why do you see the speck that is in your brother’s eye, but don’t consider the beam that is in your own eye?
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you.
So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets. Therefore, whatever you desire for men to do to you, you shall also do to them; for this is the law and the prophets.
Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.Enter in by the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter in by it. How narrow is the gate and the way is restricted that leads to life! There are few who find it.
Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves.Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravening wolves.
Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on a rock.
On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick.”When Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.”
But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. But you go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, and not sacrifice,’ for I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give.Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, and cast out demons. Freely you received, so freely give.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.Don’t be afraid of those who kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul. Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.

Is anyone among you sick? Let them call the elders of the church to pray over them and anoint them with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise them up. If they have sinned, they will be forgiven.Next verse! With image
