- Teach me Your way, O Lord;
I will walk in Your truth;
Unite my heart to fear Your name. - Make Your face shine upon Your servant;
Save me for Your mercies’ sake. - I was sought by those who did not ask for Me;
I was found by those who did not seek Me.
I said, ‘Here I am, here I am,’
To a nation that was not called by My name. - Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.”

Because the Lord has anointed Me
To preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to the captives,
And the opening of the prison to those who are bound. - Jesus answered them and said, “My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.”
- He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.
- But You, O Lord, are a shield for me,
My glory and the One who lifts up my head. - With my whole heart I have sought You;
Oh, let me not wander from Your commandments! - Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?
- I will never forget Your precepts,
For by them You have given me life. - Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
- I will both lie down in peace, and sleep;
For You alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. - I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing.
- Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whoever lives and believes in Me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
- All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
- So Jesus said to them again, “Peace to you! As the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”
- I did not know Him, but He who sent me to baptize with water said to me, ‘Upon whom you see the Spirit descending, and remaining on Him, this is He who baptizes with the Holy Spirit.’
- I have set the Lord always before me;
Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. - I thank You and praise You,
O God of my fathers;
You have given me wisdom and might,
And have now made known to me what we asked of You,
For You have made known to us the king’s demand. - “Return to Me,” says the Lord of hosts, “and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts.
- I have chosen the way of truth;
Your judgments I have laid before me. - When He had called the people to Himself, with His disciples also, He said to them, “Whoever desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.”
- Direct my steps by Your word,
And let no iniquity have dominion over me. - In the multitude of my anxieties within me,
Your comforts delight my soul.
