My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.O Lord, at daybreak you hear my voice; at daybreak I bring my petition before you and await your reply.
And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.God said, “Let there be light!” And there was light.
For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in the Lord: walk as children of light.Once you were darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light.
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.For his anger lasts for only a moment, while his goodwill endures for a lifetime. Weeping may last throughout the night, but at daybreak there is rejoicing.
It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.The love of the Lord is never exhausted, nor do his deeds of mercy ever come to an end. They are renewed every morning; his faithfulness never ceases.
But I will sing of thy power; yea, I will sing aloud of thy mercy in the morning: for thou hast been my defence and refuge in the day of my trouble.But I will sing of your strength; when morning dawns, I will proclaim your kindness. For you have been my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.
Cause me to hear thy lovingkindness in the morning; for in thee do I trust: cause me to know the way wherein I should walk; for I lift up my soul unto thee.At dawn let me experience your kindness, for in you I place my trust. Show me the path I must walk, for to you I lift up my soul.
For thou wilt light my candle: the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness.You, O Lord, are light for my lamp; O my God, you make my darkness turn to light.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.Your word is a lamp for my feet and a light to my path.
Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.Jesus addressed them once again, saying, “I am the light of the world. The one who follows me will never walk in darkness. Rather, he will have the light of life.”
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.However, if we live in the light as he himself is in the light, then we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son purifies us from all sin.
And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has been unable to overcome it.
Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.You are the light of the world. A city built upon a mountain cannot be hidden.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.The explanation of your words gives light and imparts understanding to the simple.
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.Arise and shine forth, for your light has come and the glory of the Lord has dawned upon you.
Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.Nor would someone light a lamp and then put it under a basket; rather, it is placed upon a lampstand so that it may afford light to all in the house. He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.He reveals deep and hidden mysteries and knows what lies in the darkness, for light dwells with him.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.However, whoever lives by the truth comes to the light so that it may be clearly seen that his deeds have been done in God.
This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.This is the message that we have heard from him and that we declare to you: God is light, and there is no darkness at all in him.

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.Our temporary light afflictions are preparing for us an incomparable weight of eternal glory.
No man, when he hath lighted a candle, covereth it with a vessel, or putteth it under a bed; but setteth it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.No one after lighting a lamp covers it with a pot or places it under a bed. Rather he places it on a lampstand so that those who enter may see the light.
Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?Do not associate with unbelievers. For what basis can there be for a partnership between righteousness and lawlessness? What do light and darkness have in common?
For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.For light produces all goodness and righteousness and truth.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.
