For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?Which one of you, intending to build a tower, would not first sit down and estimate the cost, to see whether he has sufficient funds for its completion?
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.For I know full well the plans I have for you, plans for your welfare and not for your misfortune, plans that will offer you a future filled with hope.

Envy thou not the oppressor, and choose none of his ways. For the froward is abomination to the Lord: but his secret is with the righteous.Do not envy a violent man or choose to emulate any of his ways. For the perverse man is an abomination to the Lord whose friendship is bestowed only upon the upright.
Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.Indeed, the Lord God does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants, the prophets.
