- The fear of the Lord is to hate evil;
Pride and arrogance and the evil way
And the perverse mouth I hate. - A man has joy by the answer of his mouth,
And a word spoken in due season, how good it is! - This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.
- Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.

And I will cause you to ride on the high hills of the earth,
And feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father.
The mouth of the Lord has spoken. - In the multitude of words sin is not lacking,
But he who restrains his lips is wise.
