The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. Amen. | The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit. |
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. | For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him. |
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. | In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus. |

Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you. | Again Jesus said, “Peace be with you! As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” |
And Jesus said unto him, Go thy way; thy faith hath made thee whole. And immediately he received his sight, and followed Jesus in the way. | “Go,” said Jesus, “your faith has healed you.” Immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus along the road. |
Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. | Grace and peace to you from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. |
Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. | Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution. | In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. |
And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost. | Jesus called out with a loud voice, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit.” When he had said this, he breathed his last. |
Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. | Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, everyone who sins is a slave to sin.” |
And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body. | While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.” |
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. | If anyone acknowledges that Jesus is the Son of God, God lives in them and they in God. |
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. | But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. |
Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent. | Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.” |
And set up over his head his accusation written, This Is Jesus The King Of The Jews. | Above his head they placed the written charge against him: this is jesus, the king of the jews. |
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. | Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. |
