- My soul, you have said to Yahweh, “You are my Lord.
Apart from you I have no good thing.” - Because your loving kindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise you.
So I will bless you while I live.
I will lift up my hands in your name. - My times are in your hand.
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. - He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of Yahweh, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
my God, in whom I trust.” - Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
- Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from among all peoples; for all the earth is mine.

Yes, I will sing aloud of your loving kindness in the morning.
For you have been my high tower,

- Yahweh, in the morning you will hear my voice.

My soul waits.
I hope in his word. - I am Yahweh your God. Walk in my statutes, keep my ordinances, and do them. Make my Sabbaths holy. They shall be a sign between me and you, that you may know that I am Yahweh your God.
- Have mercy on me, God, according to your loving kindness.
According to the multitude of your tender mercies, blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity.
Cleanse me from my sin. - Praise Yahweh, my soul!
All that is within me, praise his holy name! - I will multiply your offspring as the stars of the sky, and will give all these lands to your offspring. In your offspring all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my requirements, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
- Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”
- Yahweh, you have searched me,
and you know me.
You know my sitting down and my rising up.
You perceive my thoughts from afar. - For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
- I will sing to Yahweh as long as I live.
I will sing praise to my God while I have any being. - If my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
- My doctrine will drop as the rain.
My speech will condense as the dew,
as the misty rain on the tender grass,
as the showers on the herb. - He who overcomes, I will give to him to sit down with me on my throne, as I also overcame and sat down with my Father on his throne.
