In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried out to my God; He heard my voice from His temple, And my cry came before Him, even to His ears.In my anguish I cried out to the Lord and called to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry to him reached his ears.
My son, if your heart is wise, My heart will rejoice—indeed, I myself.My son, if your heart is wise, then my heart will be glad.
Truly my soul silently waits for God; From Him comes my salvation.In God alone is my soul at rest; it is from him that my salvation comes.
My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him.In God alone be at rest, O my soul; it is from him that my hope comes.
I will put My Spirit within you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do them.I will put my Spirit in you and make you follow my statutes and my ordinances.
He who eats My flesh and drinks My blood abides in Me, and I in him.Whoever feeds upon my flesh and drinks my blood dwells in me and I dwell in him.
When I kept silent, my bones grew old Through my groaning all the day long.As long as I remained silent, my body wasted away as the result of my groaning throughout the day.
You shall keep My Sabbaths and reverence My sanctuary: I am the Lord.Observe my Sabbaths and stand in awe before my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
Lord, all my desire is before You; And my sighing is not hidden from You.O Lord, all my longing is known to you, and my sighs are not hidden from you.
I cried to Him with my mouth, And He was extolled with my tongue.I lifted up my voice in prayer to him; his praise was on my tongue.
The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid?The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom should I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom should I be afraid?
I acknowledged my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord,” And You forgave the iniquity of my sin. SelahThen I acknowledged my sin to you, and I made no attempt to conceal my guilt. I said, “I will confess my offenses to the Lord,” and you removed the guilt of my sin. Selah
If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love.If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.
Behold, God is my helper; The Lord is with those who uphold my life.Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the one who sustains me.
“The Lord is my portion,” says my soul, “Therefore I hope in Him!”The Lord is my portion, I say to myself; therefore, I will place my hope in him.
But You, O Lord, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head.But you, O Lord, are a shield to protect me; you are my glory and the one who raises my head high.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord.For my thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways my ways, says the Lord.
By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become my disciples.
In the multitude of my anxieties within me, Your comforts delight my soul.When my anxious thoughts multiplied, your comfort filled my soul with joy.
I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.I lift up my eyes to the mountains; from where will I receive help? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
For You are my rock and my fortress; Therefore, for Your name’s sake, Lead me and guide me.You are truly my rock and my fortress; for the sake of your name, lead and guide me.
If you love Me, keep My commandments.If you love me, you will keep my commandments.
Hear, my son, and receive my sayings, And the years of your life will be many.Listen, my son, and take my words to heart, and the years of your life will be multiplied.
I spread out my hands to You; My soul longs for You like a thirsty land. SelahI stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. Selah
O my soul, you have said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, My goodness is nothing apart from You.”I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”

Why are you cast down, O my soul? And why are you disquieted within me? Hope in God; For I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.Why are you so disheartened, O my soul? Why do you sigh within me? Place your hope in God; for I will once again praise him, my Savior and my God.
