Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.
When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy.
By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples.This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
For you are my rock and my fortress; and for your name's sake you lead me and guide me.Since you are my rock and my fortress, for the sake of your name lead and guide me.
My times are in your hand; rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from my persecutors!My times are in your hands; deliver me from the hands of my enemies, from those who pursue me.
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the Lord.“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth.I lift up my eyes to the mountains— where does my help come from? My help comes from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Hear, my son, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.Listen, my son, accept what I say, and the years of your life will be many.
Your testimonies are my heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.Your statutes are my heritage forever; they are the joy of my heart.
If you love me, you will keep my commandments.If you love me, keep my commands.

I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; I have no good apart from you.”I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good thing.”

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
