Bible Verses about 'My'
- I love you, Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge. - My flesh and my heart may fail,
but God is the strength of my heart
and my portion forever. - You, Lord, keep my lamp burning;
my God turns my darkness into light. - Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. - Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. - You are my refuge and my shield;
I have put my hope in your word. - The Lord is my strength and my shield;
my heart trusts in him, and he helps me.
My heart leaps for joy,
and with my song I praise him. - May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart
be pleasing in your sight,
Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer. - Your word is a lamp for my feet,
a light on my path. - I desire to do your will, my God;
your law is within my heart. - Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him. - In my distress I called to the Lord;
I cried to my God for help.
From his temple he heard my voice;
my cry came before him, into his ears. - My son, if your heart is wise,
then my heart will be glad indeed. - Repent at my rebuke!
Then I will pour out my thoughts to you,
I will make known to you my teachings. - Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him. - Hear my prayer, Lord,
listen to my cry for help;
do not be deaf to my weeping.
I dwell with you as a foreigner,
a stranger, as all my ancestors were. - And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.
- Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in them.
- When I kept silent,
my bones wasted away
through my groaning all day long. - Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.
- I cried out to him with my mouth;
his praise was on my tongue. - All my longings lie open before you, Lord;
my sighing is not hidden from you. - Then I acknowledged my sin to you
and did not cover up my iniquity.
I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the Lord.”
And you forgave the guilt of my sin. - If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in his love.
- The Lord is my light and my salvation—
whom shall I fear?
The Lord is the stronghold of my life—
of whom shall I be afraid? - But you, Lord, are a shield around me,
my glory, the One who lifts my head high. - If you love me, keep my commands.
- Since you are my rock and my fortress,
for the sake of your name lead and guide me. - “For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord. - This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples.
- Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God. - I lift up my eyes to the mountains—
where does my help come from?
My help comes from the Lord,
the Maker of heaven and earth. - Surely God is my help;
the Lord is the one who sustains me. - Lord, hear my prayer,
listen to my cry for mercy;
in your faithfulness and righteousness
come to my relief. - Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”
- Your statutes are my heritage forever;
they are the joy of my heart. - I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.” - But as for me, I watch in hope for the Lord,
I wait for God my Savior;
my God will hear me. - Jesus answered, “My teaching is not my own. It comes from the one who sent me.”
- My times are in your hands;
deliver me from the hands of my enemies,
from those who pursue me. - My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you peace and prosperity. - I spread out my hands to you;
I thirst for you like a parched land. - Listen, my son, accept what I say,
and the years of your life will be many. - The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
he enables me to tread on the heights. - Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name. - You, God, are my God,
earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
where there is no water. - Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet ascended to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”
- Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.
I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress,
my God, in whom I trust.” - My son, pay attention to what I say;
turn your ear to my words.
Do not let them out of your sight,
keep them within your heart.
