- For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption as sons and daughters by which we cry out, “Abba! Father!”
- Now if your brother sins, go and show him his fault in private; if he listens to you, you have gained your brother.
- And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be saved.
- Yet I have been the Lord your God
Since the land of Egypt;
And you were not to know any god except Me,
For there is no savior besides Me. - I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.
- You are altogether beautiful, my darling,
And there is no blemish on you. - Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.
- Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends.
- No, I tell you, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
- For this is what the Lord says to the house of Israel:
“Seek Me so that you may live.” - No one is to seek his own advantage, but rather that of his neighbor.
- And if one can overpower him who is alone, two can resist him. A cord of three strands is not quickly torn apart.
- It is the blessing of the Lord that makes rich,
And He adds no sorrow to it. - I am coming quickly; hold firmly to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.
- Love does no wrong to a neighbor; therefore love is the fulfillment of the Law.
- Pursue peace with all people, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.
- But He knows the way I take;
When He has put me to the test, I will come out as gold.
My foot has held on to His path;
I have kept His way and not turned aside. - Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father except through Me.”
- And as they were gazing intently into the sky while He was going, then behold, two men in white clothing stood beside them, and they said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand looking into the sky? This Jesus, who has been taken up from you into heaven, will come in the same way as you have watched Him go into heaven.”
- For I will be merciful toward their wrongdoings,
And their sins I will no longer remember. - But above all, my brothers and sisters, do not swear, either by heaven or by earth or with any other oath; but your yes is to be yes, and your no, no, so that you do not fall under judgment.
- No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God remains in us, and His love is perfected in us.
- No one is to say when he is tempted, “I am being tempted by God”; for God cannot be tempted by evil, and He Himself does not tempt anyone.
- Even if the fig tree does not blossom,
And there is no fruit on the vines,
If the yield of the olive fails,
And the fields produce no food,
Even if the flock disappears from the fold,
And there are no cattle in the stalls,
Yet I will triumph in the Lord,
I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. - Now may the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, that is, Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.
