My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him.Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him.
Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
Then Jesus said to them, “I shall be with you a little while longer, and then I go to Him who sent Me.”Jesus said, “I am with you for only a short time, and then I am going to the one who sent me.”
And the Lord shall be King over all the earth. In that day it shall be— “The Lord is one,” And His name one.The Lord will be king over the whole earth. On that day there will be one Lord, and his name the only name.
For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision avails anything, but faith working through love. For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision has any value. The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.
But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God.However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.
My little children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.

The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, But the mouth of the wicked what is perverse. The lips of the righteous know what finds favor, but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse.
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, But joy comes in the morning. For his anger lasts only a moment, but his favor lasts a lifetime; weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.
Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God.
Now godliness with contentment is great gain. But godliness with contentment is great gain.
Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.
So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day. These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.
So He humbled you, allowed you to hunger, and fed you with manna which you did not know nor did your fathers know, that He might make you know that man shall not live by bread alone; but man lives by every word that proceeds from the mouth of the Lord.He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.
One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.
Every moving thing that lives shall be food for you. I have given you all things, even as the green herbs. But you shall not eat flesh with its life, that is, its blood.Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything. But you must not eat meat that has its lifeblood still in it.

For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
But who am I, and who are my people, That we should be able to offer so willingly as this? For all things come from You, And of Your own we have given You.But who am I, and who are my people, that we should be able to give as generously as this?
