- But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that it will not be obvious to others that you are fasting, but only to your Father, who is unseen; and your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.
- We have come to share in Christ, if indeed we hold our original conviction firmly to the very end.

Jesus replied, “What is impossible with man is possible with God.” Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
