- In all labour there is profit:
but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

- But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.
- For his anger endureth but a moment;
in his favour is life:
weeping may endure for a night,
but joy cometh in the morning. - Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?
- My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
- For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end.
- The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable:
but the mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness. - Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days: Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body is of Christ.
- Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
- As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol is nothing in the world, and that there is none other God but one.
- But godliness with contentment is great gain.
- Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
- It is an honour for a man to cease from strife:
but every fool will be meddling. - O that there were such an heart in them, that they would fear me, and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them, and with their children for ever!
- For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth.
- But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able to offer so willingly after this sort? for all things come of thee, and of thine own have we given thee.
But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.Next verse!With image
