- In all labour there is profit:
but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. - But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
- And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
- And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
- No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.
- He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved. - For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake.
- But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.
- In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
- Only fear the Lord, and serve him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things he hath done for you.
- For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
- And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

but with the well advised is wisdom. - Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
- My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope.
- He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
- I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep:
for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety. - For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.
- And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
- Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.
- I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
- A fool hath no delight in understanding,
but that his heart may discover itself. - The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.
The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.He only is my rock and my salvation:
