Bible Verses about 'Others'

Therefore let us not sleep, as others do, but let us watch and be sober. So then let us not fall asleep as others do, but let us keep awake and be sober.
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself.Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility regard others as better than yourselves.
But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified. But I punish my body and enslave it, so that after proclaiming to others I myself should not be disqualified.
But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. But if you do not forgive others, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.
Therefore, whatever you want men to do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets. In everything do to others as you would have them do to you; for this is the law and the prophets.
For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
He who keeps instruction is in the way of life, But he who refuses correction goes astray.Whoever heeds instruction is on the path to life, but one who rejects a rebuke goes astray.
The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself.A generous person will be enriched, and one who gives water will get water.
Whoever therefore breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches men so, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever breaks one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, will be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe. The fear of others lays a snare, but one who trusts in the Lord is secure.
Moreover, when you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. And whenever you fast, do not look dismal, like the hypocrites, for they disfigure their faces so as to show others that they are fasting. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.
Therefore you are inexcusable, O man, whoever you are who judge, for in whatever you judge another you condemn yourself; for you who judge practice the same things. Therefore you have no excuse, whoever you are, when you judge others; for in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, are doing the very same things.
Let no one seek his own, but each one the other’s well-being.Do not seek your own advantage, but that of the other.
Therefore, when you do a charitable deed, do not sound a trumpet before you as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory from men. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. So whenever you give alms, do not sound a trumpet before you, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, so that they may be praised by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward.
But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. But when you fast, put oil on your head and wash your face, so that your fasting may be seen not by others but by your Father who is in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you.
He is despised and rejected by men, A Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. And we hid, as it were, our faces from Him; He was despised, and we did not esteem Him.He was despised and rejected by others; a man of suffering and acquainted with infirmity; and as one from whom others hide their faces he was despised, and we held him of no account.
A highway shall be there, and a road, And it shall be called the Highway of Holiness. The unclean shall not pass over it, But it shall be for others. Whoever walks the road, although a fool, Shall not go astray.A highway shall be there, and it shall be called the Holy Way; the unclean shall not travel on it, but it shall be for God's people; no traveler, not even fools, shall go astray.

Nor do they light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.
Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers.Let no evil talk come out of your mouths, but only what is useful for building up, as there is need, so that your words may give grace to those who hear.
