If your right eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.And after He had said these things, He was lifted up while they were watching, and a cloud took Him up, out of their sight.
He builds his lofty palace in the heavens and sets its foundation on the earth; he calls for the waters of the sea and pours them out over the face of the land— the Lord is his name.The One who builds His upper chambers in the heavens And has founded His vaulted dome over the earth, He who calls for the waters of the sea And pours them out on the face of the earth, The Lord is His name.
The one who is victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out the name of that person from the book of life, but will acknowledge that name before my Father and his angels.The one who overcomes will be clothed the same way, in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.
When hard pressed, I cried to the Lord; he brought me into a spacious place.From my distress I called upon the Lord; The Lord answered me and put me in an open space.
Wash and make yourselves clean. Take your evil deeds out of my sight; stop doing wrong.Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; Remove the evil of your deeds from My sight. Stop doing evil.
On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink.”Now on the last day, the great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.”
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!Oh, the depth of the riches, both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and unfathomable His ways!
Flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.Now flee from youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart.
I will walk about in freedom, for I have sought out your precepts.And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts.

But you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, though you are small among the clans of Judah, out of you will come for me one who will be ruler over Israel, whose origins are from of old, from ancient times.But as for you, Bethlehem Ephrathah, Too little to be among the clans of Judah, From you One will come forth for Me to be ruler in Israel. His times of coming forth are from long ago, From the days of eternity.
