PSALM (4/4)

Your statutes are my everlasting heritage; they are the very joy of my heart.Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.
I will rejoice and exult in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.
Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in accord with the law of the Lord.Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
Guide my steps in accord with your word and never let evil triumph over me.Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.
Blessed are those who observe his statutes and seek him with their whole heart.Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
For your kindness extends to the heavens; your faithfulness, to the skies. For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
He alone is my rock and my salvation, my fortress, so that I stand ever unshaken. He only is my rock and my salvation; he is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.
Taste and see that the Lord is good; blessed is the man who takes refuge in him.O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Put your trust in the Lord and do good, that you may dwell in the land and be secure.Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
My deliverance and my glory depend on God; he is my mighty rock and my refuge. In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.
The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and his ears are open to their cry.The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
The Lord is near to all who call out to him, to all who call out to him sincerely. The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
For the Lord takes delight in his people, and he crowns the humble with salvation. For the Lord taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.
What is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him? What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him?
I stretch out my hands to you; my soul thirsts for you like a parched land. SelahI stretch forth my hands unto thee: my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah.
Restore us, O Lord of hosts; let your face shine upon us, and we will be saved.Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts, cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved.
I will praise you in sincerity of heart as I ponder your righteous judgments.I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
My soul thirsts for God, the living God. When shall I come to behold the face of God?My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
The earth is the Lord’s and everything in it, the world and all who live in it.The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
In peace I lie down and sleep, for only with your help, O Lord, can I rest secure.I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety.
As long as I remained silent, my body wasted away as the result of my groaning throughout the day. When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
Blessed be the Lord, day after day, the God of our salvation, who carries our burden. SelahBlessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
The explanation of your words gives light and imparts understanding to the simple. The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.
May the Lord grant strength to his people. May the Lord bless his people with peace. The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.
But you, O Lord, are a shield to protect me; you are my glory and the one who raises my head high. But thou, O Lord, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.

Bible verse of the day
