Bible Verses about 'PSALM'
- What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
- Preserve me, O God:
for in thee do I put my trust. - Shew me thy ways, O Lord;
teach me thy paths. - I made haste, and delayed not
to keep thy commandments. - Depart from evil, and do good;
seek peace, and pursue it. - He healeth the broken in heart,
and bindeth up their wounds. - Seek the Lord, and his strength:
seek his face evermore. - Thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
and a light unto my path. - But our God is in the heavens:
he hath done whatsoever he hath pleased. - And I will walk at liberty:
for I seek thy precepts. - Behold, God is mine helper:
the Lord is with them that uphold my soul. - Truly my soul waiteth upon God:
from him cometh my salvation. - Our help is in the name of the Lord,
who made heaven and earth. - Thou art my hiding place and my shield:
I hope in thy word. - Keep thy tongue from evil,
and thy lips from speaking guile. - Arise, O Lord; O God, lift up thine hand:
forget not the humble. - For who is God save the Lord?
or who is a rock save our God? - Deliver my soul, O Lord,
from lying lips,
and from a deceitful tongue. - My soul, wait thou only upon God;
for my expectation is from him. - I cried unto him with my mouth,
and he was extolled with my tongue. - Incline my heart unto thy testimonies,
and not to covetousness. - God is our refuge and strength,
a very present help in trouble. - I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait,
and in his word do I hope. - Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord;
that walketh in his ways. - God shall bless us;
and all the ends of the earth shall fear him. - I delight to do thy will, O my God:
yea, thy law is within my heart. - Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord.
Praise ye the Lord. - The Lord is on my side; I will not fear:
what can man do unto me? - Let thy mercy, O Lord, be upon us,
according as we hope in thee. - When I said, My foot slippeth;
thy mercy, O Lord, held me up. - It is better to trust in the Lord
than to put confidence in man. - For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - The Lord is righteous in all his ways,
and holy in all his works. - Grant thee according to thine own heart,
and fulfil all thy counsel. - Salvation belongeth unto the Lord:
thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah. - Blessed is he
whose transgression is forgiven,
whose sin is covered. - Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - Lord, all my desire is before thee;
and my groaning is not hid from thee. - For thou wilt light my candle:
the Lord my God will enlighten my darkness. - Create in me a clean heart, O God;
and renew a right spirit within me. - I sought the Lord, and he heard me,
and delivered me from all my fears. - I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies,
as much as in all riches. - So teach us to number our days,
that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom. - Bless the Lord, O my soul:
and all that is within me, bless his holy name. - As the hart panteth after the water brooks,
so panteth my soul after thee, O God. - I have chosen the way of truth:
thy judgments have I laid before me. - Thy word have I hid in mine heart,
that I might not sin against thee. - Let my mouth be filled with thy praise
and with thy honour all the day. - I will never forget thy precepts:
for with them thou hast quickened me. - In the multitude of my thoughts within me
thy comforts delight my soul.
Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ. But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.Next verse!With image
