For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evils. It is through this craving that some have wandered away from the faith and pierced themselves with many pangs. | For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows. |

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. And he who searches hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints according to the will of God. | And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. |
A man's gift makes room for him and brings him before the great. | A man's gift maketh room for him, and bringeth him before great men. |
All day long he craves and craves, but the righteous gives and does not hold back. | He coveteth greedily all the day long: but the righteous giveth and spareth not. |
Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord! | Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord. |
The Lord is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? | The Lord is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me? |
The fear of man lays a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord is safe. | The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the Lord shall be safe. |
Every way of a man is right in his own eyes, but the Lord weighs the heart. | Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts. |
Praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints. | Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. |
So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone. | Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone. |
