Power (2/3)

  • That He would grant you, according to the riches of His glory, to be strengthened with power through His Spirit in the inner self, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; and that you, being rooted and grounded in love.
  • Establish my footsteps in Your word,
    And do not let any wrongdoing have power over me.
  • For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over every ruler and authority.
  • To You, God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise,
    For You have given me wisdom and power;
    Even now You have made known to me what we requested of You,
    For You have made known to us the king’s matter.
  • For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.
  • But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name.
  • By faith even Sarah herself received ability to conceive, even beyond the proper time of life, since she considered Him faithful who had promised.

  • And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
  • All things are permitted for me, but not all things are of benefit. All things are permitted for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.
  • But as for me, I will sing of Your strength;
    Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning,
    For You have been my refuge
    And a place of refuge on the day of my distress.
  • And I heard every created thing which is in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, or on the sea, and all the things in them, saying,

    But the Lord sustains the righteous.

  • Therefore there is now no condemnation at all for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.
  • For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under the Law but under grace.
  • Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that He may exalt you at the proper time.
  • My times are in Your hand;
    Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me.
  • The husband must fulfill his duty to his wife, and likewise the wife also to her husband. The wife does not have authority over her own body, but the husband does; and likewise the husband also does not have authority over his own body, but the wife does.

    Who watches over the souls of His godly ones;
    He saves them from the hand of the wicked.
  • Every person is to be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God.
  • Therefore He is also able to save forever those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the One who is able to save and to destroy; but who are you, judging your neighbor?
