- Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
- My times are in your hand.
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. - Let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife her husband. The wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise also the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
- For of him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen.
- You who love Yahweh, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of his saints.
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. - Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.
