but Yahweh upholds the righteous. - There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don’t walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made me free from the law of sin and of death.
- For sin will not have dominion over you, for you are not under law, but under grace.
- Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.
- My times are in your hand.
Deliver me from the hand of my enemies, and from those who persecute me. - Let the husband give his wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife her husband. The wife doesn’t have authority over her own body, but the husband does. Likewise also the husband doesn’t have authority over his own body, but the wife does.
- For of him and through him and to him are all things. To him be the glory for ever! Amen.
- You who love Yahweh, hate evil!
He preserves the souls of his saints.
He delivers them out of the hand of the wicked. - Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.
- Therefore he is also able to save to the uttermost those who draw near to God through him, seeing that he lives forever to make intercession for them.
