- So when you give to the needy, do not announce it with trumpets, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and on the streets, to be honored by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full.
- But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.
- Turn from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it. - Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you.

- Humility is the fear of the Lord;

- Wealth and honor come from you;
you are the ruler of all things.
In your hands are strength and power
to exalt and give strength to all. - God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
- Let us examine our ways and test them,
and let us return to the Lord. - And I will put my Spirit in you and move you to follow my decrees and be careful to keep my laws.

I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture.But the wisdom that comes from heaven is first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive, full of mercy and good fruit, impartial and sincere.
