- After Job had prayed for his friends, the Lord restored his fortunes and gave him twice as much as he had before.

Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
