For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?For who is God except the Lord? Who but our God is a solid rock?
The Lord is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.The Lord is good, a strong refuge when trouble comes. He is close to those who trust in him.
The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.Yes, and the Lord will deliver me from every evil attack and will bring me safely into his heavenly Kingdom. All glory to God forever and ever! Amen.
Learn to do right; seek justice. Defend the oppressed. Take up the cause of the fatherless; plead the case of the widow.Learn to do good. Seek justice. Help the oppressed. Defend the cause of orphans. Fight for the rights of widows.

Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm.
The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.The Lord is a shelter for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.God will destroy anyone who destroys this temple. For God’s temple is holy, and you are that temple.
He holds success in store for the upright, he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless.He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you.How great is the goodness you have stored up for those who fear you. You lavish it on those who come to you for protection, blessing them before the watching world.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.And don’t let us yield to temptation, but rescue us from the evil one.
I love you, Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.I love you, Lord; you are my strength. The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my savior; my God is my rock, in whom I find protection. He is my shield, the power that saves me, and my place of safety.

My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.I’m not asking you to take them out of the world, but to keep them safe from the evil one.
The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.“All right, you may test him,” the Lord said to Satan. “Do whatever you want with everything he possesses, but don’t harm him physically.” So Satan left the Lord’s presence.
The Lord watches over the foreigner and sustains the fatherless and the widow, but he frustrates the ways of the wicked.The Lord protects the foreigners among us. He cares for the orphans and widows, but he frustrates the plans of the wicked.

You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my God turns my darkness into light.You light a lamp for me. The Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.
