Bible Verses about 'Protection'
- You are my hiding place;
you will protect me from trouble
and surround me with songs of deliverance. - As for God, his way is perfect:
The Lord’s word is flawless;
he shields all who take refuge in him. - Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.
- He will cover you with his feathers,
and under his wings you will find refuge;
his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. - God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble. - Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.

he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. - You make your saving help my shield,
and your right hand sustains me;
your help has made me great.
You provide a broad path for my feet,
so that my ankles do not give way. - Keep me safe, my God,
for in you I take refuge. - The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.
- The Lord is with me; I will not be afraid.
What can mere mortals do to me? - You are my refuge and my shield;
I have put my hope in your word. - I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
- Even to your old age and gray hairs
I am he, I am he who will sustain you.
I have made you and I will carry you;
I will sustain you and I will rescue you. - But I will sing of your strength,
in the morning I will sing of your love;
for you are my fortress,
my refuge in times of trouble. - Above all else, guard your heart,
for everything you do flows from it. - What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

than to trust in humans. - The name of the Lord is a fortified tower;
the righteous run to it and are safe. - The Lord will rescue me from every evil attack and will bring me safely to his heavenly kingdom. To him be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

He cares for those who trust in him. - For who is God besides the Lord?
And who is the Rock except our God? - Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord;
may your love and faithfulness always protect me. - Learn to do right; seek justice.
Defend the oppressed.
Take up the cause of the fatherless;
plead the case of the widow. - The Lord will rescue his servants;
no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. - For he guards the course of the just
and protects the way of his faithful ones. - Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. - ‘Never again will they hunger;
never again will they thirst.
The sun will not beat down on them,’
nor any scorching heat.
For the Lamb at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd;
‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’
‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’ - In you, Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
deliver me in your righteousness. - The prudent see danger and take refuge,
but the simple keep going and pay the penalty. - Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
- If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person; for God’s temple is sacred, and you together are that temple.
- The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed,
a stronghold in times of trouble. - He holds success in store for the upright,
he is a shield to those whose walk is blameless. - How abundant are the good things
that you have stored up for those who fear you,
that you bestow in the sight of all,
on those who take refuge in you. - Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. - Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
- And lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from the evil one. - I love you, Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - Surely, Lord, you bless the righteous;
you surround them with your favor as with a shield. - But the Lord is faithful, and he will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.
- My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
- The Lord watches over the foreigner
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he frustrates the ways of the wicked. - The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, everything he has is in your power, but on the man himself do not lay a finger.” Then Satan went out from the presence of the Lord.
These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Live in harmony with one another.
