- With his feathers he will shelter you,
and you will take refuge under his wings;

What can mortals do to me? - You are my refuge and my shield;
I put my hope in your word. - I can do all things in him who strengthens me.

For the Lamb who is at the center of the throne
will be their shepherd.
He will guide them to springs of living water,
and God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. - O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me;
may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever. - In you, O Lord, I have taken refuge;
let me never be put to shame;
in your righteousness deliver me. - The prudent man perceives danger and seeks shelter,
while the simple continue forward and pay the penalty. - Therefore, put on the armor of God, so that you will be able to hold fast on the evil day and to hold your ground with all your strength.
- If anyone destroys God’s temple, God will destroy that person. For the temple of God is holy, and you are that temple.

hopes all things,
endures all things. - Truly, you bless the righteous, O Lord;
you surround them with your goodwill as with a shield. - The Lord then said, “Very well. All that he has is in your power. However, you may not lay a hand upon him.” So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.
- The Lord watches over the stranger
and sustains the fatherless and the widow,
but he blocks the way of the wicked. - You, O Lord, are light for my lamp;
O my God, you make my darkness turn to light. - Seek the Lord,
all you humble of the land
who obey his commands.
Seek righteousness, seek humility;
then perhaps you may find shelter
on the day of the Lord’s anger.
