- Every word of God is pure:
he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. - In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust;
let me never be ashamed:
deliver me in thy righteousness. - As for God, his way is perfect:
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. - As for God, his way is perfect;
the word of the Lord is tried:
he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. - He shall cover thee with his feathers,
and under his wings shalt thou trust:
his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. - Oh how great is thy goodness,
which thou hast laid up for them that fear thee;
which thou hast wrought for them that trust in thee
before the sons of men! - I will love thee, O Lord, my strength.
The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer;
my God, my strength, in whom I will trust;
my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. - Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

- Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
- Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.
- And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

- Out of the same mouth proceedeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be.
- But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof.
- Surely the Lord God will do nothing,
but he revealeth his secret
unto his servants the prophets. - Riches profit not in the day of wrath:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - Treasures of wickedness profit nothing:
but righteousness delivereth from death. - In all labour there is profit:
but the talk of the lips tendeth only to penury. - For thou, O God, hast proved us:
thou hast tried us, as silver is tried. - Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
- And how I kept back nothing that was profitable unto you, but have shewed you, and have taught you publicly, and from house to house.
- Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
- But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.
- He that covereth his sins shall not prosper:
but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.
And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the Lord, saith the Lord God, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love.
