- Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.
- As for God, His way is blameless;
The word of the Lord is refined;
He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. - Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil.

And Your right hand upholds me;
And Your gentleness makes me great.
You enlarge my steps under me,
And my feet have not slipped. - The Lord will fight for you, while you keep silent.
- The Lord is for me; I will not fear;
What can man do to me? - You are my hiding place and my shield;
I wait for Your word. - I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
- Even to your old age I will be the same,
And even to your graying years I will carry you!
I have done it, and I will bear you;
And I will carry you and I will save you. - But as for me, I will sing of Your strength;
Yes, I will joyfully sing of Your faithfulness in the morning,
For You have been my refuge
And a place of refuge on the day of my distress. - Watch over your heart with all diligence,
For from it flow the springs of life. - What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who is against us?

And who is a rock, except our God? - The Lord will rescue me from every evil deed, and will bring me safely to His heavenly kingdom; to Him be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Obtain justice for the orphan,
Plead for the widow’s case. - The Lord redeems the souls of His servants,
And none of those who take refuge in Him will suffer for their guilt. - He alone is my rock and my salvation,
My stronghold; I will not be greatly shaken. - Guarding the paths of justice,
And He watches over the way of His godly ones. - A prudent person sees evil and hides himself;
But the naive proceed, and pay the penalty. - They will no longer hunger nor thirst, nor will the sun beat down on them, nor any scorching heat; for the Lamb in the center of the throne will be their shepherd, and will guide them to springs of the water of life; and God will wipe every tear from their eyes.
- In You, Lord, I have taken refuge;
Let me never be put to shame;
In Your righteousness rescue me. - You, Lord, will not withhold Your compassion from me;
Your mercy and Your truth will continually watch over me. - Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist on the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.
- If anyone destroys the temple of God, God will destroy that person; for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.
- The Lord will also be a stronghold for the oppressed,
A stronghold in times of trouble. - He stores up sound wisdom for the upright;
He is a shield to those who walk in integrity. - How great is Your goodness,
Which You have stored up for those who fear You,
Which You have performed for those who take refuge in You,
Before the sons of mankind! - And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
- He alone is my rock and my salvation,
My refuge; I will not be shaken. - “I love You, Lord, my strength.”
The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my savior,
My God, my rock, in whom I take refuge;
My shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. - It does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; it keeps every confidence, it believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
- For You bless the righteous person, Lord,
You surround him with favor as with a shield. - But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.
- Then the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not reach out and put your hand on him.” So Satan departed from the presence of the Lord.
- The Lord watches over strangers;
He supports the fatherless and the widow,
But He thwarts the way of the wicked. - The Lord will protect you from all evil;
He will keep your soul.
The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in
From this time and forever.
