Proverbs 3:5 (4/6)

Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.Gracious words are like a honeycomb, sweetness to the soul and health to the body.
A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends.A dishonest man spreads strife, and a whisperer separates close friends.
He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city.Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city.
Children's children are the crown of old men; and the glory of children are their fathers.Grandchildren are the crown of the aged, and the glory of children is their fathers.
Excellent speech becometh not a fool: much less do lying lips a prince.Fine speech is not becoming to a fool; still less is false speech to a prince.
He that covereth a transgression seeketh love; but he that repeateth a matter separateth very friends.Whoever covers an offense seeks love, but he who repeats a matter separates close friends.
A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.Even a fool who keeps silent is considered wise; when he closes his lips, he is deemed intelligent.
A fool hath no delight in understanding, but that his heart may discover itself.A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing his opinion.
A fool's lips enter into contention, and his mouth calleth for strokes.A fool's lips walk into a fight, and his mouth invites a beating.
The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.The words of a whisperer are like delicious morsels; they go down into the inner parts of the body.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.
The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.A rich man's wealth is his strong city, and like a high wall in his imagination.

Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the Lord.He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord.

He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul: he that keepeth understanding shall find good.Whoever gets sense loves his own soul; he who keeps understanding will discover good.
House and riches are the inheritance of fathers: and a prudent wife is from the Lord.House and wealth are inherited from fathers, but a prudent wife is from the Lord.
He that keepeth the commandment keepeth his own soul; but he that despiseth his ways shall die.Whoever keeps the commandment keeps his life; he who despises his ways will die.
There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the Lord, that shall stand.Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
The desire of a man is his kindness: and a poor man is better than a liar.What is desired in a man is steadfast love, and a poor man is better than a liar.
It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.It is an honor for a man to keep aloof from strife, but every fool will be quarreling.

It is a snare to the man who devoureth that which is holy, and after vows to make enquiry.It is a snare to say rashly, “It is holy,” and to reflect only after making vows.
