Psalm 150 (4/9)

The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all.The misfortunes of the righteous man are many, but the Lord delivers him, from all of them.
The Lord will rescue his servants; no one who takes refuge in him will be condemned. The Lord redeems the lives of those who serve him; no one will be condemned who takes refuge in him.
Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.Put your trust in the Lord and do good, that you may dwell in the land and be secure.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.Take delight in the Lord, and he will grant you what your heart desires.
Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him and he will do this: He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn, your vindication like the noonday sun.Commit your way to the Lord; place your trust in him, and he will act. He will make your righteousness shine like the dawn, and the justice of your cause, like the noonday.
Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes.Wait quietly for the Lord and be patient until he comes. Do not fret over the man who prospers because of his evil schemes.
Better the little that the righteous have than the wealth of many wicked; for the power of the wicked will be broken, but the Lord upholds the righteous.Preferable is the little that the righteous possess than the great wealth of the wicked. For the power of the wicked will be overcome, but the Lord protects the righteous.
The wicked borrow and do not repay, but the righteous give generously. The wicked man borrows but neglects to repay, whereas the righteous man is generous in giving.
The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him.The Lord makes a man’s steps secure when he approves of his conduct.
For the Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones. Wrongdoers will be completely destroyed; the offspring of the wicked will perish. For the Lord loves the just, and he will not forsake his faithful ones. Those who follow evil paths will be destroyed, and the children of the wicked will be cut off.
All my longings lie open before you, Lord; my sighing is not hidden from you.O Lord, all my longing is known to you, and my sighs are not hidden from you.
Hear my prayer, Lord, listen to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping. I dwell with you as a foreigner, a stranger, as all my ancestors were.Hear my prayer, O Lord; do not be deaf to my cry or ignore my weeping. For I am a wayfarer before you, a nomad like all my ancestors.
I desire to do your will, my God; your law is within my heart. To do your will, O God, is my delight; your law is in my heart.
Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me.O Lord, do not withhold your mercy from me; may your kindness and your truth keep me safe forever.
As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God.As a deer longs for running streams, so my soul longs for you, O God.
My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?My soul thirsts for God, the living God. When shall I come to behold the face of God?
Deep calls to deep in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and breakers have swept over me.The depths of the sea resound in the roar of your waterfalls; all your waves and your breakers sweep over me.
By day the Lord directs his love, at night his song is with me— a prayer to the God of my life.During the day the Lord grants his kindness, and at night his praise is with me, a prayer to the living God.
Why, my soul, are you downcast? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God, for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God.Why are you so disheartened, O my soul? Why do you sigh within me? Place your hope in God; for I will once again praise him, my Savior and my God.
It was not by their sword that they won the land, nor did their arm bring them victory; it was your right hand, your arm, and the light of your face, for you loved them.It was not their own swords that won them the land, nor did their own arms make them victorious; rather, it was your right hand and your arm and the light of your face, because you loved them.
God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.God is our refuge and our strength, a well-proved help in times of trouble.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”Be still and acknowledge that I am God, exalted among the nations, exalted on the earth.
Have mercy on me, O God, according to your unfailing love; according to your great compassion blot out my transgressions. Wash away all my iniquity and cleanse me from my sin.Have mercy on me, O God, in accord with your kindness; in your abundant compassion wipe away my offenses. Wash me completely from my guilt, and cleanse me from my sin.
Create in me a pure heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a resolute spirit within me.
My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart you, God, will not despise. My sacrifice, O God, is a broken spirit; a contrite and humble heart, O God, you will not spurn.

Surely God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the one who sustains me.
