Psalm 71 (3/9)

I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, As much as in all riches.
I have chosen the way of truth: thy judgments have I laid before me.I have chosen the way of truth; Your judgments I have laid before me.
Incline my heart unto thy testimonies, and not to covetousness.Incline my heart to Your testimonies, And not to covetousness.
And I will walk at liberty: for I seek thy precepts.And I will walk at liberty, For I seek Your precepts.
I made haste, and delayed not to keep thy commandments.I made haste, and did not delay To keep Your commandments.
I will never forget thy precepts: for with them thou hast quickened me.I will never forget Your precepts, For by them You have given me life.
Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
Thy testimonies have I taken as an heritage for ever: for they are the rejoicing of my heart.Your testimonies I have taken as a heritage forever, For they are the rejoicing of my heart.
Thou art my hiding place and my shield: I hope in thy word.You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in Your word.
The entrance of thy words giveth light; it giveth understanding unto the simple.The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.
Order my steps in thy word: and let not any iniquity have dominion over me.Direct my steps by Your word, And let no iniquity have dominion over me.
Thy word is true from the beginning: and every one of thy righteous judgments endureth for ever.The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever.
Great peace have they which love thy law: and nothing shall offend them.Great peace have those who love Your law, And nothing causes them to stumble.
Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.Deliver my soul, O Lord, from lying lips And from a deceitful tongue.
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber.
The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.The Lord shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The Lord shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.
Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.Our help is in the name of the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.
Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman stays awake in vain.
Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.Blessed is every one who fears the Lord, Who walks in His ways.
Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord. Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.Out of the depths I have cried to You, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice! Let Your ears be attentive To the voice of my supplications.
I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, And in His word I do hope.
Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!Behold, how good and how pleasant it is For brethren to dwell together in unity!
The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.The Lord will perfect that which concerns me; Your mercy, O Lord, endures forever; Do not forsake the works of Your hands.
O Lord, thou hast searched me, and known me. Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.

For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether.For there is not a word on my tongue, But behold, O Lord, You know it altogether.
