You were faithful with a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter the joy of your master.’ | His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. Since you have been faithful in small matters, I will give you much greater responsibilities. Come and share your master’s joy.’ |

| Be strong and let your heart take courage, All you who wait for the Lord. | Be strong and courageous in your hearts, all you who place your hope in the Lord. |
| Then the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not reach out and put your hand on him.” So Satan departed from the presence of the Lord. | The Lord then said, “Very well. | Search me, God, and know my heart; Put me to the test and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there is any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way. | Examine me, O God, and know my heart; test me and understand my thoughts. See if I follow an evil way, and guide me on the way to eternity. |
| But He said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God and follow it.” | Jesus replied, “Blessed, rather, are those who hear the word of God and obey it!” |
