- So that, as sin reigned in death, grace also might reign through righteousness leading to eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.
- But you, O Lord, reign forever;
your throne endures to all generations. - Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.
- For the Lord your God will bless you, as he promised you, and you shall lend to many nations, but you shall not borrow, and you shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over you.
- How beautiful upon the mountains
are the feet of him who brings good news,
who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness,
who publishes salvation,
who says to Zion, “Your God reigns.” - Both riches and honor come from you, and you rule over all. In your hand are power and might, and in your hand it is to make great and to give strength to all.
- Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”
- And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.
- And God blessed them. And God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it, and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth.”
- Then God said, “Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.”
- He said, “Then put away the foreign gods that are among you, and incline your heart to the Lord, the God of Israel.”
Know therefore today, and lay it to your heart, that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other. But who am I, and what is my people, that we should be able thus to offer willingly? For all things come from you, and of your own have we given you.Next verse!With image
