If you diligently heed the voice of the Lord your God and do what is right in His sight, give ear to His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”But even if you do suffer for doing what is right, you are blessed. Do not fear what they fear, and do not be intimidated.

But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”Then Peter began to speak to them: “I truly understand that God shows no partiality, but in every nation anyone who fears him and does what is right is acceptable to him.”
He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And speaks the truth in his heart; He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend.Those who walk blamelessly, and do what is right, and speak the truth from their heart; who do not slander with their tongue, and do no evil to their friends, nor take up a reproach against their neighbors.
Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path.Then you will understand righteousness and justice and equity, every good path.
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.

Defend the poor and fatherless; Do justice to the afflicted and needy.Give justice to the weak and the orphan; maintain the right of the lowly and the destitute.
Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.Come to a sober and right mind, and sin no more; for some people have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.Train children in the right way, and when old, they will not stray.
Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
Learn to do good; Seek justice, Rebuke the oppressor; Defend the fatherless, Plead for the widow.Learn to do good; seek justice, rescue the oppressed, defend the orphan, plead for the widow.

Then it will be righteousness for us, if we are careful to observe all these commandments before the Lord our God, as He has commanded us.If we diligently observe this entire commandment before the Lord our God, as he has commanded us, we will be in the right.
