- Do not turn to the right or the left;
Remove your foot from evil. - Every way of a man is right in his own eyes,
But the Lord weighs the hearts. - There is a way that seems right to a man,

And your eyelids look right before you. - Fear not, for I am with you;
Be not dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you,
Yes, I will help you,
I will uphold you with My righteous right hand. - Therefore being exalted to the right hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, He poured out this which you now see and hear.
- You have also given me the shield of Your salvation;
Your right hand has held me up,
Your gentleness has made me great.
You enlarged my path under me,
So my feet did not slip. - But if a wicked man turns from all his sins which he has committed, keeps all My statutes, and does what is lawful and right, he shall surely live; he shall not die.

Nor did their own arm save them;
But it was Your right hand, Your arm, and the light of Your countenance,
Because You favored them. - If your right eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you; for it is more profitable for you that one of your members perish, than for your whole body to be cast into hell.

Let him understand these things.
Who is prudent?
Let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right;
The righteous walk in them,
But transgressors stumble in them. - But when you do a charitable deed, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, that your charitable deed may be in secret; and your Father who sees in secret will Himself reward you openly.
- Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

And the humble He teaches His way. - Then Peter opened his mouth and said: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality. But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him.”
- For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.
- To do righteousness and justice
Is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. - But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you are blessed. “And do not be afraid of their threats, nor be troubled.”
- He who walks uprightly,
And works righteousness,
And speaks the truth in his heart;
He who does not backbite with his tongue,
Nor does evil to his neighbor,
Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend. - Then you will understand righteousness and justice,
Equity and every good path. - And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.
- A man has joy by the answer of his mouth,
And a word spoken in due season, how good it is! - Defend the poor and fatherless;
Do justice to the afflicted and needy. - Behold the proud,
His soul is not upright in him;
But the just shall live by his faith. - Awake to righteousness, and do not sin; for some do not have the knowledge of God. I speak this to your shame.
- Train up a child in the way he should go,
And when he is old he will not depart from it. - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise and extol and honor the King of heaven, all of whose works are truth, and His ways justice. And those who walk in pride He is able to put down.
- We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is fitting, because your faith grows exceedingly, and the love of every one of you all abounds toward each other.
- He is the Rock, His work is perfect;
For all His ways are justice,
A God of truth and without injustice;
Righteous and upright is He. - To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.
- And who is he who will harm you if you become followers of what is good?
- All things are lawful for me, but not all things are helpful; all things are lawful for me, but not all things edify.
- All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.
- Better is a little with righteousness,
Than vast revenues without justice. - Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.
