- Do not turn to the right or to the left;

And Your right hand upholds me;
And Your gentleness makes me great.
You enlarge my steps under me,
And my feet have not slipped. - For by their own sword they did not possess the land,
And their own arm did not save them,
But Your right hand and Your arm and the light of Your presence,
For You favored them. - Now if your right eye is causing you to sin, tear it out and throw it away from you; for it is better for you to lose one of the parts of your body, than for your whole body to be thrown into hell.
- But when you give to the poor, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing, so that your charitable giving will be in secret; and your Father who sees what is done in secret will reward you.
- Looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
- Whoever is wise, let him understand these things;
Whoever is discerning, let him know them.
For the ways of the Lord are right,
And the righteous will walk in them,
But wrongdoers will stumble in them. - And He is the radiance of His glory and the exact representation of His nature, and upholds all things by the word of His power. When He had made purification of sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high.
- Create in me a clean heart, God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me. - And they stripped Him and put a red cloak on Him. And after twisting together a crown of thorns, they put it on His head, and put a reed in His right hand; and they knelt down before Him and mocked Him, saying, “Hail, King of the Jews!”
- But if the wicked person turns from all his sins which he has committed and keeps all My statutes and practices justice and righteousness, he shall certainly live; he shall not die.
- If you will listen carefully to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in His sight, and listen to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I, the Lord, am your healer.
- Opening his mouth, Peter said:
“I most certainly understand now that God is not one to show partiality, but in every nation the one who fears Him and does what is right is acceptable to Him.” - Behold, as for the impudent one,
His soul is not right within him;
But the righteous one will live by his faith. - I have instructed you in the way of wisdom;
I have led you in upright paths. - Let your eyes look directly ahead
And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you. - You call Me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord’; and you are correct, for so I am.
- The Lord is good and upright;
Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in justice,
And He teaches the humble His way. - For the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness, and truth.
- To do righteousness and justice
Is preferred by the Lord more than sacrifice. - But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation, and do not be in dread.
- One who walks with integrity, practices righteousness,
And speaks truth in his heart.
He does not slander with his tongue,
Nor do evil to his neighbor,
Nor bring shame on his friend. - Then you will discern righteousness, justice,
And integrity, and every good path. - Let’s not become discouraged in doing good, for in due time we will reap, if we do not become weary.
- Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
- A person has joy in an apt answer,
And how delightful is a timely word! - Vindicate the weak and fatherless;
Do justice to the afflicted and destitute. - Sober up morally and stop sinning, for some have no knowledge of God. I say this to your shame.
- Train up a child in the way he should go,
Even when he grows older he will not abandon it. - Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, praise, exalt, and honor the King of heaven, for all His works are true and His ways just; and He is able to humble those who walk in pride.
- We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is only fitting, because your faith is increasing abundantly, and the love of each and every one of you toward one another grows ever greater.
- The Rock! His work is perfect,
For all His ways are just;
A God of faithfulness and without injustice,
Righteous and just is He. - The one who overcomes, I will grant to him to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat with My Father on His throne.
- And who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good?
- All things are permitted, but not all things are of benefit. All things are permitted, but not all things build people up.
- All things are permitted for me, but not all things are of benefit. All things are permitted for me, but I will not be mastered by anything.
- Better is a little with righteousness
Than great income with injustice.
