For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous and his ears are attentive to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.The eyes of the Lord watch over those who do right, and his ears are open to their prayers. But the Lord turns his face against those who do evil.
Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the Lord is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other.So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other.
Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken.Give your burdens to the Lord, and he will take care of you. He will not permit the godly to slip and fall.

Moses was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.Moses remained there on the mountain with the Lord forty days and forty nights.
