- Therefore know this day, and consider it in your heart, that the Lord Himself is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath; there is no other.
- For I know that my Redeemer lives,
And He shall stand at last on the earth. - For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
And His ears are open to their prayers;
But the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. - Before destruction the heart of a man is haughty,
And before honor is humility. - He who builds His layers in the sky,
And has founded His strata in the earth;
Who calls for the waters of the sea,
And pours them out on the face of the earth—
The Lord is His name. - Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.
- Cast your burden on the Lord,
And He shall sustain you;
He shall never permit the righteous to be moved. - For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
- And God said, “See, I have given you every herb that yields seed which is on the face of all the earth, and every tree whose fruit yields seed; to you it shall be for food.”
- Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal.
- And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, as upon us at the beginning.
- Then the Lord said to Moses, “Come up to Me on the mountain and be there; and I will give you tablets of stone, and the law and commandments which I have written, that you may teach them.”
- Wait on the Lord;
Be of good courage,
And He shall strengthen your heart;
Wait, I say, on the Lord! - Let not mercy and truth forsake you;
Bind them around your neck,
Write them on the tablet of your heart,
And so find favor and high esteem
In the sight of God and man. - How beautiful upon the mountains
Are the feet of him who brings good news,
Who proclaims peace,
Who brings glad tidings of good things,
Who proclaims salvation,
Who says to Zion,
“Your God reigns!” - So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
- Therefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and rest your hope fully upon the grace that is to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
- Then Jesus said to him, “Go your way; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he received his sight and followed Jesus on the road.
- “They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts,
“On the day that I make them My jewels.
And I will spare them
As a man spares his own son who serves him.” - I will make them and the places all around My hill a blessing; and I will cause showers to come down in their season; there shall be showers of blessing.
- Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands;
Your walls are continually before Me. - But I say to you that for every idle word men may speak, they will give account of it in the day of judgment.
- And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying:
“Blessing and honor and glory and power
Be to Him who sits on the throne,
And to the Lamb, forever and ever!” - Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.
- Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds, and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him.
