Romans 3:23 (2/4)

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you.The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, lives in you. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you.
For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.
The Spirit you received does not make you slaves, so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him we cry, “Abba, Father.”So you have not received a spirit that makes you fearful slaves. Instead, you received God’s Spirit when he adopted you as his own children. Now we call him, “Abba, Father.”
The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. For his Spirit joins with our spirit to affirm that we are God’s children.
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.
For the creation waits in eager expectation for the children of God to be revealed. For all creation is waiting eagerly for that future day when God will reveal who his children really are.
But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently. But if we look forward to something we don’t yet have, we must wait patiently and confidently.
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans. And the Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don’t know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words.
And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for God’s people in accordance with the will of God.And the Father who knows all hearts knows what the Spirit is saying, for the Spirit pleads for us believers in harmony with God’s own will.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.
What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword? Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death?
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes. For Christ has already accomplished the purpose for which the law was given. As a result, all who believe in him are made right with God.
If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.
As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.”As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who trusts in him will never be disgraced.”
For, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”For “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ. So faith comes from hearing, that is, hearing the Good News about Christ.
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out!Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!
For from him and through him and for him are all things. To him be the glory forever! Amen. For everything comes from him and exists by his power and is intended for his glory. All glory to him forever! Amen.
Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him.
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you.Because of the privilege and authority God has given me, I give each of you this warning: Don’t think you are better than you really are. Be honest in your evaluation of yourselves, measuring yourselves by the faith God has given us.
