| What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin that grace may abound? Certainly not! How shall we who died to sin live any longer in it? | What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? |

| Or do you not know that as many of us as were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? | Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? |

| There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. | For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. | For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. |

| So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God. | So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. |
| But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you. | But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. |

| Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. | Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. |
| Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God. | And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. |
| And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose. | And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. |
| What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? | What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? |
| He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things? | He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? |
