And a voice from heaven said, “This is my dearly loved Son, who brings me great joy.” | And behold, a voice from the heavens said, “This is My beloved Son, with whom I am well pleased.” |
Jesus called out to them, “Come, follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” | And He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of people.” |
And Jesus said to him, “Go, for your faith has healed you.” Instantly the man could see, and he followed Jesus down the road. | And Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” And immediately he regained his sight and began following Him on the road. |
Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.” | But He said to them, “Beware, and be on your guard against every form of greed; for not even when one is affluent does his life consist of his possessions.” |

But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me. Don’t stop them! For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to those who are like these children.” | But Jesus said, “Leave the children alone, and do not forbid them to come to Me; for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.” |

Don’t love money; be satisfied with what you have. For God has said, “I will never fail you. Then he said to the crowd, “If any of you wants to be my follower, you must give up your own way, take up your cross daily, and follow me.” | And He was saying to them all, “If anyone wants to come after Me, he must deny himself, take up his cross daily, and follow Me.” |
“What do you mean, ‘If I can’?” Jesus asked. “Anything is possible if a person believes.” | But Jesus said to him, “ ‘If You can’? All things are possible for the one who believes.” |
But Jesus told them, “I will be with you only a little longer. Then I will return to the one who sent me.” | Therefore Jesus said, “For a little while longer I am going to be with you, and then I am going to Him who sent Me.” |
