- Make thy face to shine upon thy servant:
save me for thy mercies' sake. - Arise, shine; for thy light is come,
and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. - Turn us again, O Lord God of hosts,
cause thy face to shine; and we shall be saved. - The Lord bless thee, and keep thee:
The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. - Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
- And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
- Do all things without murmurings and disputings: That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world; Holding forth the word of life.
- Commit thy way unto the Lord;
trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light,
and thy judgment as the noonday. - Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let thy glory be above all the earth. - Be thou exalted, O God, above the heavens:
and thy glory above all the earth. - Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not. For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
He only is my rock and my salvation:
he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
