- Hate evil, you who love the Lord,
Who watches over the souls of His godly ones;
He saves them from the hand of the wicked. - For You are my rock and my fortress;
For the sake of Your name You will lead me and guide me. - He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him over for us all, how will He not also with Him freely give us all things?
- Behold, He is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see Him, even those who pierced Him; and all the tribes of the earth will mourn over Him. So it is to be. Amen.
- My times are in Your hand;
Rescue me from the hand of my enemies and from those who persecute me. - Everything that has breath shall praise the Lord.
Praise the Lord! - But as for me, I will be on the watch for the Lord;
I will wait for the God of my salvation.
My God will hear me. - One person values one day over another, another values every day the same. Each person must be fully convinced in his own mind.
- In addition to all these things put on love, which is the perfect bond of unity.
- The Lord is my shepherd,
I will not be in need.
He lets me lie down in green pastures;
He leads me beside quiet waters. - For to me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
- And He said to them, “Whoever receives this child in My name receives Me, and whoever receives Me receives Him who sent Me; for the one who is least among all of you, this is the one who is great.”
- If an army encamps against me,
My heart will not fear;
If war arises against me,
In spite of this I am confident. - Be gracious to me, God, according to Your faithfulness;
According to the greatness of Your compassion, wipe out my wrongdoings.
Wash me thoroughly from my guilt
And cleanse me from my sin. - I can do all things through Him who strengthens me.
- I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
- Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God.
- I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
- Yet I have been the Lord your God
Since the land of Egypt;
And you were not to know any god except Me,
For there is no savior besides Me. - Lord, You have searched me and known me.
You know when I sit down and when I get up;
You understand my thought from far away. - Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; the one who comes to Me will not be hungry, and the one who believes in Me will never be thirsty.”
- Now no one lights a lamp and covers it over with a container, or puts it under a bed; but he puts it on a lampstand so that those who come in may see the light.
- You call Me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord’; and you are correct, for so I am.
- Let me hear Your faithfulness in the morning,
For I trust in You;
Teach me the way in which I should walk;
For to You I lift up my soul. - For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous,
And His ears attend to their prayer,
But the face of the Lord is against evildoers.
