- The heavens proclaim the glory of God;
the firmament shows forth the work of his hands.
One day imparts that message to the next,
and night conveys that knowledge to night. - Beloved,
do not trust every spirit,
but test the spirits
to see whether they are from God.
For many false prophets
have gone out into the world. - For:
“If anyone wishes to love life
and to experience good days,
he must restrain his tongue from evil
and his lips from deceitful speech.
He must turn away from evil and do good,
seek peace and pursue it.” - You shall keep these things that I command you today in your heart. Teach them to your children. You shall talk of them when you are sitting in your home, and when you are walking along the way, and when you lie down and when you rise up.
- If you refrain from traveling on the Sabbath
and from engaging in your own interests on my holy day,
if you call the Sabbath a day of joy
and regard the Lord’s holy day as honorable,
if you honor it by not going your own way,
serving your own interests,
or attending to your own affairs;
then you will find true happiness in the Lord,
and I will enable you to ride
upon the heights of the earth.
I will nourish you with the heritage of your father Jacob,
for the mouth of the Lord has spoken. - The grace of the Lord Jesus be with you all.
- Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
- The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- Let your attitude be identical to that of Christ Jesus.
- The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
- Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Jesus replied,
“Amen, amen, I say to you,
everyone who sins
is a slave of sin.” - For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so too do we believe that God will bring forth with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.
- Jesus replied, “Blessed, rather, are those who hear the word of God and obey it!”
- As for you, my child, take strength from the grace that is in Christ Jesus.
- Jesus replied,
“This is the work of God:
to believe in the one whom he has sent.” - Jesus answered, “If it is possible! All things are possible for one who has faith.”
- Hence, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and death.
- Jesus answered them,
“My teaching is not my own;
rather, it comes from him who sent me.” - Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy he has given us a new birth to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
- “Peace be with you,” Jesus said to them again.
“As the Father has sent me,
so I send you.” - When Jesus heard this, he said, “Do not be afraid. Just have faith, and she will be saved.”
- But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
- Jesus replied, “Did I not tell you that if you have faith you will see the glory of God?”
- The one who gives this testimony says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!
Indeed, persecution will afflict all who want to lead a godly life in Christ Jesus.The grass may wither and the flower may fade,
but the word of our God will endure forever.
