If anyone among you thinks himself to be religious while he doesn’t bridle his tongue, but deceives his heart, this man’s religion is worthless.If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless.
He who hides hatred has lying lips. He who utters a slander is a fool.The one who conceals hatred has lying lips, and whoever utters slander is a fool.

But say the things which fit sound doctrine.But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine.

Excellent speech isn’t fitting for a fool, much less do lying lips fit a prince.Fine speech is not becoming to a fool; still less is false speech to a prince.

You need not be afraid of him.
Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content.
I will give thanks to Yahweh with my whole heart. I will tell of all your marvelous works.I will give thanks to the Lord with my whole heart; I will recount all of your wonderful deeds.

In that day you will say, “Give thanks to Yahweh! Call on his name! Declare his doings among the peoples! Proclaim that his name is exalted!”And you will say in that day: “Give thanks to the Lord, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the peoples, proclaim that his name is exalted.”
