- A man's heart deviseth his way:
but the Lord directeth his steps. - The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way. - Order my steps in thy word:
and let not any iniquity have dominion over me. - For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps.
- But he knoweth the way that I take:
when he hath tried me, I shall come forth as gold.
My foot hath held his steps,
his way have I kept, and not declined. - Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation:
and thy right hand hath holden me up,
and thy gentleness hath made me great.
Thou hast enlarged my steps under me,
that my feet did not slip.
I stretch forth my hands unto thee:
my soul thirsteth after thee, as a thirsty land. Selah. Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.Next verse! With image
