Protect me, God, for I take refuge in You.Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge.

As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the Lord is refined; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him.God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.
Through overconfidence comes nothing but strife, But wisdom is with those who receive counsel.Pride leads to conflict; those who take advice are wise.
Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is comfortable, and My burden is light.Take my yoke upon you. But He knows the way I take; When He has put me to the test, I will come out as gold. My foot has held on to His path; I have kept His way and not turned aside.But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold. For I have stayed on God’s paths; I have followed his ways and not turned aside.
These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.
The Lord redeems the souls of His servants, And none of those who take refuge in Him will suffer for their guilt.But the Lord will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.
Take care, brothers and sisters, that there will not be in any one of you an evil, unbelieving heart that falls away from the living God.Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.
He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may take refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and wall.He will cover you with his feathers. He will shelter you with his wings. His faithful promises are your armor and protection.

“For I take no pleasure in the death of anyone who dies,” declares the Lord God. “Therefore, repent and live!”I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live!
