Protect me, O God, for in you I take refuge.Keep me safe, O God, for I have come to you for refuge.

The way of God is blameless; the Lord’s promise has proved true. He is a shield to all who take refuge in him.God’s way is perfect. All the Lord’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.
Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.
I take no pleasure in the death of anyone, says the Lord God. Repent and live!I don’t want you to die, says the Sovereign Lord. Turn back and live!
Be strong and courageous in your hearts, all you who place your hope in the Lord.So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord!
I have told you this so that in me you may be in peace. In the world you will endure suffering. But take courage! I have overcome the world.I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world.
For we brought nothing into this world, and we can take nothing out. If we have food and clothing, let us be content with these.After all, we brought nothing with us when we came into the world, and we can’t take anything with us when we leave it. So if we have enough food and clothing, let us be content.
After this, he said to the crowd, “Take care to be on your guard against all kinds of greed. Life does not depend upon an abundance of one’s possessions.”Then he said, “Beware! Guard against every kind of greed. Life is not measured by how much you own.”
Take care, brethren, that none of you will ever have an evil and unbelieving heart that will cause you to forsake the living God.Be careful then, dear brothers and sisters. Make sure that your own hearts are not evil and unbelieving, turning you away from the living God.
I am coming soon. Hold fast to what you already have so that no one may rob you of your crown.I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take away your crown.
Place your hope in the Lord: be strong and courageous in your heart, and place your hope in the Lord.Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
So today acknowledge it and take it to heart that the Lord is God in the heavens above and on the earth below. There is no other.So remember this and keep it firmly in mind: The Lord is God both in heaven and on earth, and there is no other.

You will not add to what I command you, nor will you take away from it, so that you might observe the commandments of the Lord, your God, that I am giving you.Do not add to or subtract from these commands I am giving you. Just obey the commands of the Lord your God that I am giving you.
